Introduction
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we would like to welcome you to the 15th Meeting of Child Vision Research Society, which will be held in Prague, 14.-17. June 2015. CVRS meetings are held biennially since 1987 most commonly in various European countries. The previous meeting was successfully organized in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada.
The purpose of this conference is to bring together clinicians and researchers who are interested in normal and abnormal development of infant and child vision. New findings of basic research on the early development and plasticity of visual system as well as their translation into the management of visually impaired children will be the main topics of this conference.
It is a great opportunity for us to have a possibility to organize this meeting in Prague, one of the nicest cities of central Europe. We will try our best to prepare a scientific program covering multiple important topics presented by leading experts. There will also be space for free communications and poster presentation. The main goal of this meeting is to facilitate the exchange of information between investigators and people involved in the detection, prevention and treatment of early visual disorders.
