Important dates

Please send your abstract to cvrs2015@bpp.cz until March 15, 2015.

You will be informed about the acceptance of your presentation or poster until March 20, 2015.

 

Presentation format
  • Invited presentation 45 minutes
  • presentation 15 minutes
  • poster – vertical layout (70 x 100 cm)

Guidelines for preparing abstracts

Language: English

A) Heading 
  • presentation title (capital letters)
  • affiliation; if more institutions are involved, they should be numbered consecutively (bold type)
  • authors’ last names (without titles) and the first letters of their first names (italic type)
  • the author who presents the presentation is named first
B) A structured abstract must include the following: 
  • objective
  • methods
  • results
  • conclusions
Abstract formatting
  • do not use any templates or frames
  • compatibility with Microsoft Office (file *.doc) is preferred
  • Times New Roman, 12 pt, single spaced
  • A4 format - 1800 characters with spaces (heading not included)
  • do not use “shift/enter” or any other formatting
  • do not insert any charts, graphs, images
  • abstracts not fulfilling the content and formal criteria will not be published

  • data projector (1024 x 768 px, 4:3)
  • preview monitor
  • Logitech presenter
  • VGA connector for your own device
  • wireless microphone
  • timer (optional)
Presentation formats
  • MS PowerPoint 2013, 2010, 2007 (.ppt, .pps; .pptx, .ppsx), 2003 (.ppt, .pps)
  • Adobe Reader (.pdf)
  • in order to maintain the proper layout, we recommend using standard text formats (fonts)
Video formats
  • WMV, AVI, MPEG (DivX)
  • DVD (PAL)
Attaching your own device
  • standard VGA connector (no audio cable included)
  • check-up is possible during coffee-breaks between program sessions
Reception of presentations
  • open for the duration of the conference
  • a quite room where you can submit and check up your presentations
  • direct downloading into the presentation terminal
  • please submit your presentations no later than 30 minutes before the session starts
  • slides are forwarded by using the Logitech presenter
Presentations may be provided on these media:
  • data storage devices (flash drives) with an integrated USB interface
  • DVD and CD
