Free public transport

We are pleased to announce that during the meeting all delegates will be able to use public bus transport in Hradec Kralove free of charge!

Each delegate name badge will serve as a city ticket for the duration of the Conference. This will allow delegates to easily reach the Conference Venue from their hotels, and to explore the beautiful city of Hradec Kralove. Please show your conference badge with the lanyard given to you on registration to the ticket controller when asked.

Shuttle BUS

For the participants' convenience we will organize complimentary shuttle bus which you can use to get to the venue and back. Expected time of the journey is 2h and 30min.

• Prague Airport - Hradec Kralove, Sunday 9, 14:00
   The shuttle bus will leave in front of the entrance of Terminal 2, bus park number 2

• Hradec Kralove - Prague Airport – after the meeting, Friday 14, 10:00

Participants who are interested to use this bus have to send an e-mail to conference secretariat chepon2018@bpp.cz with information when they want to use the transport (Sunday, Friday or both days) and passengers names. The shuttle service is free; however, the reservation is needed to guarantee the seat!

 

By yourself

Your journey starts at Prague Airport - „Letiste Vaclava Havla“. This airport has two terminal buildings. For non-Schengen flights, Terminal 1 is used, while Terminal 2 is used for Schengen flights.

TAXI

Hradec Králové is easily accessible by bus or train, however, should you be coming for the first time and with all your luggage, you may prefer a TAXI.

TRAIN x BUS

From both buildings, you can take a special bus called AIRPORT EXPRESS  providing direct interconnection of air, rail and urban mass transit (The bus stop will have a sign AE - departure from terminal 1). This bus will take you fastest way to the Main Railway station („Praha Hlavni Nadrazi“)The journey takes 30 minutes.. You can buy ticket directly from the driver. The cost is 60 CZK, luggage is free of charge. You can pay only in CZK, so please change some money at the Terminal building. The bus AE terminates at “HLAVNÍ NÁDRAŽÍ” station (Main railway station). The boarding stop is in Wilsonova Street (the main artery in the direction of Florenc). It is the last stop and it is situated in front of Fanta's building („Fantova budova“).

  • Train

Please enter the building of Main railway station, go downstairs and find a place called „ČD centrum“. Here you can buy your ticket. Find a window with sign Domestic lines („Vnitrostátní jízdenky“). Your task is to ask for a single ticket to Hradec Králové [hradets kra:love:]. The cost is around 100 CZK.

After you bought a ticket, it's time to check information board with departure times. You can get oriented by train numbers, which is the first information from left side on the information board. Please make sure, that the train you choose is going via Hradec Kralove hl.n. The journey from Prague railway station to Hradec Kralove takes about 1h 40min.

  • Bus

If you want to go by bus you have to take the underground (line C) from the Main railway station to “FLORENC” station, it is the second stop in "LETŇANY" direction. When you get off at the station “FLORENC”, take the first turn right (designated “AUTOBUSOVÉ NÁDRAŽÍ – ODJEZDY AUTOBUSŮ”) and you will come directly to the bus station platforms (most buses heading for Hradec Králové leave from platform No. 13 and 14).

The conference is held at the University of Hradec Kralove building A, Hradecká 1227/4, Hradec Králové. You can reach the conference venue by public transport; take bus or trolley-bus no. 1, 9, 24 and 28 from the railway station to Heyrovského bus stop or no. 2, 16 and 27 to Zimní stadion bus stop.
